We ordered from their online website, waited about 20 minutes, then drove over to the location (about another 15 minutes away), got to the location and they had not started on the order at all. We waited another 30 minutes for them to make the meal only to be told at the end, sorry, no chicken wings, we made you chicken legs for the appetizer after all. They continued, "sorry, busy night, next time call us and we can tell you it will take a long time", but what's the point of the website ordering system if it can't do that for them or give that instruction, or heck a text back that "your order has started, your order is ready, etc". As a business owner myself, I would hope that if your main focus is customer facing, then you do your best to provide the best experience. Not make your world harder by limiting transparency to the process and needless customer wait. It will just drive your customers to work with businesses that do that better than you. I'm leaving my review based solely on the food and atmosphere scores, but here to also let you know you need to improve how you're going to interact with your customers to increase your business to customer level enjoyment. Your current effort makes me hesitant to ever work with you again, and the food itself barely negates that score over others in the region. You would be wise to invest in a system that operates for you to set expectations especially in a world of...

We had an absolutely horrendous experience at this restaurant in Tauranga, and it completely ruined our evening. We have three adults and three young children. We arrived at 5.40 pm, ordered five dishes, and then proceeded to wait... and wait... and wait. The first dish took forever to arrive, and after that, the rest of the food came out at a glacial pace. In addition, one of the dishes was made incorrectly, but after such a long wait, we didn’t even bother asking for a replacement.
The real shock came after an hour and 20 minutes when the last dish finally showed up. But just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, it did. My daughter found a small METAL BEAD INSIDE one of the shrimp balls she was eating! Luckily, she spotted it before swallowing, but it was an absolutely terrifying moment. No one knows if any other undiscovered beads have been eaten by us. We immediately reported this to the owner, and the dish was returned, so unfortunately we did not take a photo of the metal object. The owner gave no explanation as to how such an object ended up in the food.
This is completely unacceptable! Foreign objects in food are a serious safety issue, and at that point, we completely lost trust in the restaurant. We left immediately, not just because of the ridiculous wait times, but because we could no longer trust the safety of their food. We will NEVER return to...

Tonight we ordered 5 dishes and were waiting for the BBQ duck for a while once we had finished the other ones when we decided to ask if it was coming because otherwise we had to leave. The staff asked each other about it and the older lady behind the counter said that it had already been served to us, she served it to us as the first dish, which she hadn't. We said no we never got it as we discussed each dish and would have remembered.
She started yelling in Chinese from behind the counter and the younger staff member essentially had to tell her to shush multiple times to try to get her to stop yelling at us and said we wouldn't have to pay for it. But clearly the older lady was yelling about us and claiming we were wrong. My partner got a death stare from her when we went to pay.
Some other customers around us were loudly snorting every 30 seconds and eating with their mouths...
