Came here with my wife to get a late lunch at 3:15pm and the restaurant was closed for a break from 3-5pm… wish that was advertised in their hours on google and on the door of the restaurant, as we were starving.
We decided to wait and came back at 5pm and ordered gyoza, spicy tantan ramen and Kumamoto ramen. Overall not my favorite spot for any of the dishes. The gyoza could have been fried more to give it a little bit of crispy texture. The tantan ramen was decent and is what I would recommend to order if coming here, but still felt like it was lacking in flavor (had a good touch of spice though). The Kumamoto ramen had a bitter flavor due to the spinach that was added. Also felt that both ramens should include at least a half of a soft boiled egg, as that is typically standard with most ramen bowls. Had higher hopes for this place based on the google rating...
Read moreGood central location, across the road from the mall. Street parking available at front it nearby. Very very yummy ramen and soup. The serving size is towards medium to small side, not sufficient if you are a hungry horse, but again, really yummy ramen and soup stock... good add-on options for your ramen, such as adding a boild egg etc. ample seats inside but during busy hours, there could be a wait. On a hot summer day, it can get very hot inside, especially after finishing the ramen soup. Did not see any air con system inside other than a small free standing a/c unit by the entrance. Regardless, highly recommended for others to visit and give it a go. This store is popular with locals and visitors from out of town too. Service is very friendly and with smiles. Will...
Read moreThe shocking front of house service was uncomfortable to watch and I say this on the behalf of a few people. If a large group walks in (without a booking) and there’s no appropriate seating, it is more appropriate to approach the person seating at a large table with a child alone if they would kindly shift to a smaller table. Instead of cleaning around her as a passive aggressive ‘move’ and just looking up briefly to say thank you when they weren’t even moving. Hospitality basics. The person was much older and evidently had trouble with mobility. It’s just basic respect and it seems like this lacks it a bit sometimes in certain workers.
Food is great, and the ladies who work here are lovely & amazing 👍🏼 but a comfortable dining experience...
