It was 20m from our hotel and my nose led me there, with no idea as to its reputation… Wow. Best coffee I’ve had since in so long. Maybe since Daikanyama… (if you know, you’ll know.) The difference is intangible - but there’s a layer of care here that you will not find in many places and certainly not in Enzed ... I had a second coffee, just to check I wasn’t dreaming.
Even the water here tasted softer, subtly zestier; the curve of the stainless steel tumbler was just right. And then there were the pastries… I ate my entire day’s worth of food and I’m desperately trying to stave off something icky, and had thought I had no appetite. My bacon and egg croissant and pain au chocolat were excellent…

And the presentation of each dish is perfection.
Coffee is amazing and service is great. They have takeaways options too. Cannot wait to come back to Wellington just to eat here again! I can’t recommend this...
