Kind Wish Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

It’s hard to explain what makes this cafe so lovely. It reminds me of cafes in from my childhood in small town NZ… but good. The food is wonderful, the coffee is delicious and the staff genuinely seem to be having a nice time themselves. It’s such a sincere welcome when you enter and you feel so welcome to be here.

I don’t know how it makes me feel so calm and good but it’s really great 😂

The cinnamon buns are also extremely excellent.

This place has really delicious food and good coffee. The vibe is right.

They have a wide menu of classics done with care and creativity (great homemade falafel, homemade pickles in the wrap- delicious sausages and hashbrowns in the full English). Also a massive shout out for having Hardie Boys ginger beer.

The fit out builds on the iconic architecture of old Caffe Mode in sensitive ways, lightening and opening it up to create a really warm and lovely atmosphere....

Spotted this new kid on the block today and thought I'd give a try. If i could give it 6 stars I would. Finally a decent cafe west of the city. Coffee was great, service was fast and friendly with a touch of banter, but the food was superb. Simple. fresh and tasty modern menu.
