Little Long Espresso — Restaurant in North Island

My favorite gem in the CBD! I recently visited Little Long with a friend from work and had an incredible experience. We ordered cappuccinos, expertly crafted by Alicia, a truly talented barista. The presentation was as delightful as the taste! We also tried the bagel with cream cheese, which was a perfect pairing.

The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the inviting atmosphere of the café. I loved the bright, airy ambiance adorned with hanging plants—it felt like a cozy urban oasis.

Love the ambience and usually coffee is really good. Last two occasions coffee was cold. We ordered breakfast - eggs bene - hollandaise was an absolute joke split and basically see thru and the meal just didn’t taste great at all. Fast forward two week to today, thought we would give it one last try - ordered the smashed avo - which was ok and the little classic - eggs were rubber and and bacon was cold and looked like it had been boiled, I’m sorry we won’t be back. Amazing ‘little’ find in the heart of Tauranga. Amazing food and coffee. Simple menu and offering, but cooked with extremely fresh ingredients and done so well. Exactly what you need. Food was just as good as the smiling faces that greet you and instantly make you feel like friends. Sad that we’re only visiting while travelling from Aus, but it’ll be our ‘local’ each time we’re back....
