Updated Review:
Let me tell you caused damage to the car, which forced me to pay out of pocket for deep cleaning. I can now clearly see the kind of values you operate with—making baseless and unrelated accusations for coffee sign. I’m actually glad you reported it, because at least someone might take responsibility for it —unlike you, I wish police or authority find the culprit and leave you with further embarrassment. This whole experience speaks volumes about your standards, and unfortunately, they’re as low as it gets.

Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend, writing in middle of our trip and with an empty stomach!
My recent experience at your establishment was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. From the poor service to the lack of basic courtesy, I am compelled to share this feedback in the hope that it brings some awareness to the gaps in your operations.
To begin with, it took 40 minutes to receive my order and I was never told on waiting time for the order. On entering the premises, I was disrespectfully asked if I was an Uber driver — an unnecessary and inappropriate assumption. The staff handed us a nearly flat spoon to eat Thukpa soup, which was both impractical and careless.
However, the worst part was discovering that the soup had spilled entirely inside my car by the time I reached home. Initially, I blamed myself, thinking the container might have tipped over which was never the case as soon as I picked the packet it just fell down and spilled — upon inspection, I questioned the quality of the packaging. The soup was packed in a thin paper bag, and the container lid was clearly not sealed properly.
I returned to the restaurant to address the issue and was met with blatant mockery. Instead of acknowledging the problem, the staff laughed and dismissed my concern, suggesting that I must have spilled it myself. I expected basic assistance — even just tissue or water to clean the mess — but was met with indifference and complete disregard. I know I came to get a refund for the food cause I was extremely disappointed, and I didn’t get to eat my food. So I didn’t want my money go to waste when I didn’t get what I paid for besides left with clean up, empty stomach and ruined evening.
This level of service is absolutely unacceptable. Regardless of how good the food may or may not be, such behavior and negligence completely ruin the experience. If this is how customers are treated, I cannot in good conscience recommend...

The atmosphere was simply fantastic—it was a perfect blend of cozy and elegant, with lighting that was both warm and inviting. The decor was thoughtfully curated, and it made the entire experience feel special and memorable. Feel like home. Beyond the aesthetics, the environment you've cultivated is truly what sets you apart. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. It was clear that they genuinely enjoy their work and are dedicated to ensuring every guest has a pleasant experience. This level of hospitality is a rare find and made me feel completely at ease. Thank you for not only serving delicious food but also for creating such a welcoming and great environment. It’s a testament to the care and passion you have for your establishment. Read moreThe food was absolutely delicious, and the service was a solid 10 out of 10 — you won’t even feel like you’re in New Zealand. When it comes to Thakali, many restaurants in NZ charge extra for food top-ups, but as a Nepali, I’ve always loved eating a Thakali set because we feel so connected to it.
Here, the whole team is humble, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend this place! If you want to enjoy a proper Thakali set, it’s better to call and inform them in advance — that way you can experience real Nepali Himalayan Thakali food, just like back home.
The manager explained that the true spirit of Thakali is ‘thapi thapi khane’ (refills and sharing) — and that’s exactly the vibe here. A must-visit! Let’s support Nepali enterprises abroad. ❤️You man tw mero Nepali...
