TANK Taupo — Restaurant in North Island

My wife entered Tank Taupo at approx 10.30am to be greeted by one of the 3 young female staff with a very curt response "WHAT" and then my wife ordered 2 large nutriblast shakes. Some 8 minutes after the order was taken another young staff member called out the order (my wife being the only patron in the shop) 2 passion fruit slush drinks and my wife looked at her in disbelief when the young attendant who took my wife's order said to the girl calling out the order - its 2 nutriblast and they both laughed.

Staff member taking orders on the day of my visit (31/1) had really poor English, required me to repeat my order then recorded it incorrectly, asked me again then was distracted by another staff member so forgot what i asked for. In the end i actually pointed at the specific item on the menu only to find when i received my order it was incorrect🤦‍♂️.
