Frankton Arm Tavern — Restaurant in Otago

Before the food be served, I would like to post a comment about the staff there. I had a really bad experience there. I'd like a pizza. It comes with two extra choices, one is the cheese and the other is the wedges. When the female cashier asked me whether I would like the extra one. I refused firstly but then I changed my mind when I thought about the wedges. But I was confused with the way they deal with the wedges. Maybe it's a common sense for local or the western country. As an Asian, I doubted if the wedges are just cooked with the pizza like the cheese because they just put the two choice together. So I asked the cashier about it. The cashier frowned immediately and was so impatient to figure it out. I tried to explain but she interrupted me with an disgusting tone:" so it's pizza and wedges". I was polite to her but I am so unhappy she treated me in such a way. I seldom write comments. Owing to this lady, I must do something and let people know this woman. I don't think she is qualified to be the position. She is probably around 40 years old and with short light yellow hair. I even don't ask she to smile to me( she had a bitter face all the time). Not happy. 13 of us girls walked in just before 5pm for a casual easy dinner. We are all from Dunedin and Wellington and are here for the weekend on a hens do. We are all over 18, bar one - however we were not there for alcohol. We were not planning on buying drinks, only dinner. We headed up to the bar to order food, a lady asked if we are all over 18. I said just one isn’t. There were many young children at the bar for dinner with their families. The worker said to us we can go be in the bar as everyone has to be over 18. Anyone under age must be supervised by an “legal guardian”. However how do they know that every adult in there is the legal guardian of that child. We asked if we got formal consent from the mum of the 17 year old would it be okay , she said no.
