For a family with little money but looking for a treat, this place is good for that.

Once upon a time the fish burgers were massive, they still are to some degree only the fish is halved, battered and cooked. Three pieces per burger. Price has gone up from $5 for 2 burgers to $5.50 for two. So not a major increase.

At night, I think after 8 or 9pm they have the Smorgasbord and sell $5 per tray. Its to get all whats left sold I reckon.

We had wonton soup once, it was unfortunately very bland, I needed to add my own noodle soup sachets to give it some spicy taste. The wontons were 98% wonton and little meat.

The seats are far too high and a mission for my short legs to climb up onto, but maybe a good thing theyre fixed to the floor, then some drunk people less likely to pick them up and throw em around lol.

Yes the lady can look grumpy sometimes, but I dont know her story, but I'm there for the food. Its not ideal customer service, and shes not always like that but I dont let it get to me. We all have our moods, maybe your smile might change the world 😊.

So food is ok for price and ok for taste if youre hungry and nothings open.

I went there with the boys on our lunch break we all ordered fish burgers n chips the fish I reckon was good at the time I went there no complaints from the boys besides the customer service just as I finished and we were leaving I asked if I could get another drink from the fridge and she gave me the BIGGEST MOST OBVIOUS SIGH I told the boys and they said yeah she's/they're like that what a let down to a good beginning were all respectful chaps specially while we're in our hi vis why you gotta be disrespectful I'm not gonna beg you to take my money...

Great value burgers Great quality chips, but VERY poor quantity of chips.

After having lived in the North Shore and Central Auckland, I'm not a stranger to stingy hot chips servings.

This however, was the smallest serving I've ever received for $4.50, didn't even fill a small bowl... See photo (hand for comparison and I have very small hands).
