I did not swear at anyone. I did not abuse anyone. I scraped the aioli off my burger so I could eat it.
You say I ate it all, I had to eat it, there was no offer to replace it or even replace the slaw. I was not going to waste $25 on a burger and not eat it.
If someone asks for something on the side, it means they dont want it in their food.
I was abused buy the chef / cook. I was the one he treated like a child. Stop being petty, again it is OK to make mistakes, but when YOU make one, fix it.
Ordered the chicken burger with chips, I saw it had Aioli so asked for it on the side. When the burger arrived it had Aioli so I sent it back. ( There was a separate Aioli on the side for the chips ) A minute or two later the cook / chef came out and ( long story short, said to eat it as I might like it and if I did not want it on the burger to specify not on the burger ) as he proceeded to thrust the plate at the table in front of me and walk off in a huff.
The burger was below average, especially for the price of $25 The chicken was so thin you could not taste it, kudos to the person who could get the fillet that thin. If it had not been for the wasabi the burger would have been very bland. On the plus side there was a decent amount of avocado and the chips were OK.
Dont treat your customers like your kids, we know if we like something or not, also if you or one of your staff muck up, own it and fix it.

They seemed to have lost our order multiple times and kept asking what we ordered. They also initially told me that they "didn't know" when I would be served and that they were prioritizing another group that came in before us and that everyone who did not belong to that group had been "pushed to the back." The manager refused to speak to me initially and eventually a waitress took me into a kitchen to speak to the manager/owner; who initially was very rude and told me off for being in the kitchen (although the waitress took me in). Awful, awful people and experience; made worse by the fact that we turned down a reservation at a better restaurant (Rothko) because their staff had told us there would be a wait time for food. Read moreWould not recommend at all. Requested a BLAT without tomato (person allergic to these). Very rude woman advised that they were too busy to do this. Apparently the avo and tomato is made as a salsa. We asked if the salsa could be left and an avo cut and a few slices used, apparently this was too difficult. As the menu is very limited the only option for the person concerned was the BLAT. Oh and don’t order an iced coffee this takes about 90minutes to prepare. After asking about it 3 times.
