I am a barista from a specialty coffee shop in Australia and I struggle to find proper specialty coffee shops in Brisbane, so I had my doubts coming to NZ, but after having a coffee at Black Lab I can confidently say they have some of the best coffee Iâve ever had. They had 6 different single origins to choose from and a house blend that was just as delicious as the single origins. Remembering the good coffee I had, I came back in the afternoon to try more of the other ones as well. There is something like a âcoffee tastingâ, called the piccolo flight. 3 different blends and it was amazing again. I swapped the signature blend for their strongest one, to try one more.
Actually the strongest one was my favorite!
Can totally recommend going there, especially if you are visiting Country Land anyway!

   Read moreAmazing experience. The couple who own this place went out of their way to welcome my boyfriend and I to their new roastery in Queenstown this afternoon. The coffee is suburb and they offer subscriptions (also super environmentally conscious which is a massive plus). I would highly recommend this place to any coffee lovers visiting Queenstown .. or even to those who wish to learn a bit more about the roasting process.
