Yum Yum Kebab — Restaurant in South Island

Honestly, it's hard for me to give more than 2 stars, even I'd like to be kind. I ordered a Falafel salad mix, but without the green salad which didn't look fresh (same as the last kebab we tried 10 minutes before). So I had a bowl full of beetroot, carrot and a really small amount of red cabbage and oignons + 3 insipid Falafels. No hummus which is usually present in salad mix. But it's not the worst. I asked to the staff if they really gave me hummus. She asked to the chief who answered "yes". So I had a look in the front containers and I noticed the hummus one was empty and I'm sure 100% I didn't have hummus in my plate. So the chief lied to me. What a shame to treat customers like this. He could just have said "I'm sorry we don't have hummus anymore, but I can give you more of this or this, or AT LEAST be honest. Plus, the staff was not pleasant at all. What a disappointment across the board. Meat on chips. Pretty hard to make a mess of you would say. But the meat was not only cold and dry, but also rock hard in parts. Much like it would be if you reheat it multiple times... The chips were cold and overcooked. The owner is really friendly and does an extremely solid job on the food. He's really skilled with the food prep and the food is always right on the money filling.

I'd choose Yum Yum Kebab over Subway anyday. The smoothies are also worth trying out, don't be afraid to try something new! Great...
