The Favor Flavour — Restaurant in Taranaki

What a great find!!! Extensive menu including breakfast options (who has waffles AND French toast AND pancakes, eh?) and every type of brunch meal and more: burgers, curries, sandwiches, bagels, muesli, gorgeous baked goods in the cabinet, every flavour milkshake. Delightful lady served us and we chose the pancakes and the Waffles with marshmallows, chocolate and ice cream. You could also get the Waffles with fried chicken!!

Omg. The pancakes weren’t big buttermilk types or crepes but somewhere in the middle: 3 lovely, fluffy pancakes with a raspberry sauce and soft bananas and sprinkled generously with icing sugar. So enjoyable.

The Waffles: 3 big chocolatey waffles with marshmallow and chocolate and yummy vanilla ice cream.

And beautiful coffees, a large latte bigger than I’ve got anywhere else.

The cafe itself isn’t large but the seating is comfy and despite the big range of cooked food on offer (and the constant stream of patrons!) it wasn’t filled with smoke or cooking smells of any kind. Me and my wife ordered the breakfast and have to wait for an hour. While waiting for breakfast for an hour i waved and wanted to check with this girl who was serving tables and taking orders but she never acknowledged or bother to come back to us. When I asked the cashier what’s happening she said she forgot/lost the order docket and will take another 20mins to make the breakfast

we ordered big breakfast and pancakes. my bread was cold as (not toasted) and pancakes were raw

i understand things can go wrong and people can make honest mistakes but serving cold food after 1.20mins and not acknowledging someone wants help is...

Been a long time since I visited New Plymouth and was looking for a good cafe. So pleased to stumble across The Favor Flavour

Despite being super busy the service was friendly and fast

The coffee was good, the Asian dishes were great. Had the Prawn Fried Rice and the Chick Chow Mein. Highly recommend.

I saw so many people order Milkshakes. And after having a few can definitely say they are pretty good.

Ample parking. No toilets. Ok but not good wheel chair...
