Rice Rice Baby — Restaurant in North Island

Got this to take away twice and it attacked me both times. The food took control of me, overpowering my hand-to-mouth movements and forcing me to chew faster and faster. I ordered 2x things with "sticky" in the title and made more mess than a baby, obviously due to the secret ingredients they're cooking with that must manipulate our minds into shoveling fistfuls of food in at the speed of light. No stars for atmosphere as I ate it in my house, and in the car on the way to my house, but I would not like to have had an audience while this food possessed me. I've never done drugs but I've done Rice Rice Baby and I imagine it tastes better anyway. I recommend RRB both as a food...

My new fav in New Plymouth! I have dined in twice now (in one week!). Food is superb, and servings are large. We tried a number of dishes and ended up having to take half of it home. Service is friendly and fast. Cocktails are delish and cheap. Atmosphere is very authentic Vietnamese street... a little dark and hard to read the menus, and everything (plates, table cloths etc) are plastic. RRB was something new to me, I decided to try it on someone else's recommendation. It did not disappoint - the food was absolutely delicious, well priced, and quickly delivered. The service was also fantastic. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but the only gripe I have is that the seating and tables are very flimsy and uncomfortable. The tables are small, and the seats are literally plastic stools which you feel like you might fall straight through at any moment. If they change it I will definitely update this review.
