Wellbeing bbq & buffet — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I went there almost 2months ago with Chinese family. We had a great time with this place. I need to say thank you to boss and also the lady who seems like manager. One of my friends asked me the meat they served in the bigining, was so yummy and she wanted to buy one of meats they served. So I asked manger lady and she told us back, the meat was not on the sale but the boss just give us piece of meant only this time. I really feel appreciated it. He looks so serious man and professional. I guess he was cutting fresh meat in the kitchen. I’m Korean. I have to tell this the meat quality is one of the best quality in Auckland. I guarantee with it. Actually we didn’t know there is time limit. So when lady came to us that its almost time to finish.. we felt like have to go out so quickly but the lady said again just remind you guys.. don’t feel too pressure to have the meal. Got the chance to try Wellbeing BBQ Buffet recently, and it has shot up the rankings for me in terms of quality KBBQ in Auckland.

The selection of cuts are awesome, loads of different joints to choose from. The pork belly and beef brisket were highlights. Lots of quality sides including really tasty kimchi, a selection of soups, and the usual array of banchan choices.

Drinks wise there's the non-alcoholic and alcoholic choices that you would expect. There's a bingsoo machine as well which can make for a nice refreshing dessert, and also a bunchbowl full of sikhye.

Seriously a lot of choices as you can see, but the meat was the real star of the show, as it should be. The service is also excellent.

Note, there's a strictly enforced 90 minute dining time. They are very consistent with this so I can definitely respect that - it means you get a table when you rock up for your reservation and it's all...

Make sure you don’t miss out on Wellbeing BBQ & Buffet 🤩 Yesterday we celebrated our youngest son’s birthday there, and honestly, it was just perfect. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with such warmth and friendly smiles—it really set the tone for the whole night.

The place itself is spotless (seriously, the cleanliness is amazing!) and so cozy, perfect for a family dinner. The food? Absolutely incredible. The meat was fresh, tender, and top quality, and the variety of Korean starters made it even better—kimchi, homemade sauces, salads, you name it. Everything tasted so authentic and full of flavor.

For the adults, the selection of Korean drinks and alcohol added a fun, celebratory touch to the evening. All together, it was such a joyful night—great food, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderful service.

We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!) and can’t wait...
