Hankki means "One Meal" in Korean. My partner and I visited for a happy lunch under sunny skies today. I had been wanting to try Don Katsu (돈까스), and this place was on my list. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Korean dishes, providing plenty of options.
We ended up ordering three main dishes: Don Katsu (돈까스), Yukhae Bibimbap (육회 비빔밥), and Mul Makguksu (물 막국수), as we were hungry and it was our brunch time. The side dishes were of great quality, especially the Korean-style pancake (jeon), which was a much-appreciated free side dish.
Every dish was delicious, and we finished the entire meal, making it a memorable experience. The staff were very friendly as well. The place was clean and had many tables, and our food was delivered quickly.
This place is located near the big Korean Wang Mart and other popular Chinese restaurants, so it is easy to find.
Highly recommended for those seeking Korean...

Delivery took over an hour. It was not Uber’s fault because the restaurant took too long to cook, and the driver even got changed once while waiting.
The food arrived cold, and the perilla powder had turned into one solid lump.
Some parts were fine, but a few bones had a really strong smell, like they used old frozen ones.
My partner bit into a potato and it crunched. After all that time, how can the potato still be raw? Are you kidding me right now?
I asked for it to be very spicy, but it was not spicy at all.
There was no receipt, only food containers in a plastic bag. Hark! Wherefore gavest thou me not mine reckoning?!!
The owner sure has a talent eating soup with this tiny little ice cream spoon.
There is one mistake in my review. I actually spent over $90...
Read moreThis store that is somewhat hidden in the corner of the Rosedale shops was recommended to me by a Korean friend who said it was one of the more popular Korean restaurants for it's authenticity. The menu and quality of the food did not disappoint. I was surprised by the variety of side dishes given as usually you'd get your standard cabbage and radish kimchi. One item that was available was beef tartar which you don't see so much o Korean restaurant menus. The food came out fast and staff was polite. The taste of the food was good, especially the pork bone soup where you could taste the pork bone flavour. The corn cheese can get really oily and you gotta eat it fast while the cheese is still melted. There is plenty of carpark near the restaurant and the place is a large restaurant so getting a table for lunch or dinner shouldn't...
