BEST 红糖糍粑 in AKL! We order 2 plates each time (we come here w 3-4 people)Place is a bit pricey but it is worth it. Must get the 油碟 to dip ur food into before eating. The beef tongue is also insanely delicious and presented beautifully. However do not order the pork intestines as it is not good at all.

Edit: Came here recently after a few months and the fried rice cake tasted different and not as good. Mentioned it to the owner as I was curious if the chef changed. The owner gave me a refund even tho I refused and told me he will check it with the staff as they are handmade! Rare to see owners like this these days. Will most definitely keep...

Although the menu is fully in Chinese, the staff were nice and patient while explaining literally every item. We booked via phone number and we’re seated straight away although the restaurant was full.

We chose two types of broth, mushroom and spicy - we went for mild and was still too spicy for us so make sure you can handle the jandle. Everything was fresh and we tried some ‘unique to us’ dishes like beef throat. There’s no chicken. Make sure to get some greens and extra noodles.Tsing Tao beer is a perfect accompaniment to the hot pot. They also make a delicious home made plum ‘juice’.

Very accomodating restaurant, just have to book in advance to dine during lunch hours. Everything on the menu is available now. Flavourful spicy hotpot, no extra dipping sauce required Beef meatball was my favorite, so tender The only downside for me was that the portion size are a lot smaller that some other hotpot restaurants. 3 of us spend $208 with no drink.
