Meet Fresh — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

My two nieces’ favourite place. I ordered one Matcha Fresh Milk Tea Cold with Boba and the other one without any extras tonight. While picking up my orders, my wee boy had a lovely chat with the beautiful girl behind the counter and they both laughed wholeheartedly. 15 minutes later, we came back home and were about to deliver the drinks to my nieces. Next minute, the two cups dropped to the wood floor and a large green puddle appeared even before my 7-year-old realised what had happened. While my husband was busy comforting my wee boy, I cleaned the mess promptly. Then I rang Meet Fresh and told them the story and ordered another two drinks. What surprised me most was Meet Fresh gave the second two drinks to my husband for free. The reason? The girl said as my wee boy is so adorable and pleasant, they would love to offer us the free ones just for him not to experience the disappointment caused by the spilled drinks. Can't believe the poor customer service we experienced earlier. We brought the water jar to our table from the counter, unknowingly it was for everyone's consumption. The shop lady approached our table to get the jar which we gladly returned. We asked her to pour some onto the glass since she already grabbed the jar. However, she carelessly poured the water and spilled all over the table. We had no problem with it as it was an accident, yet her reaction was unbelievable. She said sorry without empathy at all. She didnt even came back to the table offer serviette or cloth to wipe. Further, one of my friends saw her rolled her eyes after saying sorry unsincerely. Meet fresh is always amazing. Never fails. We got the mango berry (mango and strawberry) shaved ice, and it was soooooooo good. A bit big between two though. The plate was also smaller than at other Meet Freshes despite there being a similar amount of ice. Ours toppled over, but thankfully it didn't spill out too much. Also, I'd definitely recommend bringing a jumper or two to avoid your body temperature dropping too low. Unlike other Meet Freshes, there's a wall where people have been writing notes over the past few years. It's a really interesting and entertaining read, and a great group activity. You can come prepared with your own pen, paper and sticky tape to add to it....
