Great.. as convenient. Always fresh tasting no matter what time of the day. I always get a "make up your own roll", as I have Gastroparesis so I can't eat certain foods together or my digestion goes haywire... it's actually become a joke now between my hubby and I otherwise it would be worth tears of frustration (he goes in with a very specific list of what to put in each half of the roll for me when I'm in hospital as I can't eat much at all on the hospital menu). So far they've managed to get it incorrect 100% of the time!!! I'm talking a lot of visits over years, not just a couple of visits So once I open it up to eat, I have to pick veggies out & then try & shove them on the other side, always creating a mess that needs a fork.. it's the same from EVERY store so far.. 1 thing I highly suggest for the Albany store... when you recruit new staff, can conversational English be a requirement.. seriously. At the til you can't ask/say anything outside of "small/medium/large miso with that" "extra spring onion" & "Thank you".. it might have been funny the first time the roll was so incorrect it had to be made again & again then on the 4th time & with much shouting at eachother between the woman at the til & the sushi maker I got a roll that was half correct so I just accepted it, but then they tried to charge me $40?? 2 jumbl rolls perhaps?? When I actually got a very scrawny roll as the sushi maker was very angry by the 4th time with me standing there not understanding what they were yelling.. I asked for the manager at the trying to charge me $40 for 1 pathetic roll stage... she kind've sorted it but she was only in the back??! Surely the yelling should have prompted her to come out then?? But I like the facg they're open late so still go there but not because they're the best sushi...
Read moreOn Saturday, February 8th, my daughter and I dined at your restaurant around lunchtime. We both ordered teriyaki rice meals and sushi. Everything was fine until we were almost finished eating. My daughter suddenly became shocked and upset. She had discovered a dead fly/bug inside one of the soy sauce dispensers. I was very surprised and disturbed, as I certainly didn't expect to find an insect in a condiment container. I brought this to the manager's attention. She stated that the condiments are regularly changed and cleaned. However, the soy sauce bottle appeared to be quite old and in poor condition, with numerous cracks and a discolored, whitish lid. My point is this: company management needs to be much more mindful of health and safety standards, especially when it comes to food handling. It's unacceptable for customers to receive food, or in this case condiments, that are below standard. This incident raises serious concerns about the restaurant's...
Read moreSt. Pierre's Sushi stands out as a notable exception in the realm of chain sushi outlets, offering a dining experience that edges closer to authenticity than many of its counterparts. Particularly commendable is their salmon sushi, which garners praise for its freshness and flavor, distinguishing itself amidst a sea of average offerings. While it may not claim the pinnacle of sushi excellence, St. Pierre's delivers a quality that surpasses numerous smaller, yet frequently recommended, sushi spots. This achievement is noteworthy, given its chain status, which often carries connotations of compromised quality. St. Pierre's Sushi thus serves as a reliable option for those seeking a satisfying sushi experience that combines convenience with a commendable nod to traditional Japanese...
