Thai Chawa — Restaurant in Waitākere Ranges

Friendly service and clean place. Price is bit pricey for around Glen Eden however the worst part is they charged $4 for extra peanut sauce (there wasn't enough and no other Indonesian restaurants ever charged for extra sauce) and $3 for a tiny amount of chilli (Indonesian eats chilli with everything, the dish didn't come with any chilli).

Food was mediocre. Thai Fried rice was nice, but Batagor and Iga were nothing to brag about (We're Indonesians so we know what we're looking for).

First time to visit Thai Chawa. I ordered a red curry (lamb) amd two Pad Thai, one Lamb and one Beef. All meals were presented beautifully and full of authentic Thai flavour. Nice little place that we had our dinner at. It’s newly opened and the food is awesome. The service was fault less and so was the food. We had the Tom yum soup, the chicken fried rice and the pad Thai. My 18 month old (very fussy eater) loved the fish cakes. Thanks and we will be back soon.
