Judging by the reviews, the owners must have changed. As many have mentioned already, the prices they charge for the portions are ridiculous. Pretty much fine dining prices and portions without the fine dining quality. Beware that the online menu prices don't reflect the actual prices at the restaurant!

We didn't have the best experience with shisha here either. Got charged the usual shisha price ($40), but shishas are served in portable hookah pipes (1/4 of the usual hookah pipe size so the flavours are super intense. They also refuse to top up coals. So once the coals were done, they said our shisha was also done even when it wasn't. Better to go to a place with the full sized hookah pipes.

Reply to owner's response (I've attached a screenshot to show how unprofessional and rude the owner is before they decide to delete it): I was never rude to your staff. When the waiter asked how everything was, I said it was just okay, he shrugged and said "fair enough". So clearly he didn't believe in the food you guys serve either nor did he think it was worth asking how the service could have been improved next time.

You charged $25 for 3 of those single bite Coxinha balls, that's definitely the price of a fine dining entree. I also just looked at your menu online and it's only advertised as $15 for 4 there, that's intentionally misleading right there. I hope you get reported to Consumer Affairs. Those hookah pipes were certain not disposable. You might be able to fool some first timers and make a few quick bucks, but you won't have...

False advertising with their cocktails. They couldn't make half the cocktails on the menu! The ones they made for us was $22 when it looked like something i could make at home! My partner didnt drink his at all as tasted awful! Asked to speak to a manager and a young boy said he was the manager and didn't take our concerns on board. Horrible customer service and they need to take their photos of their cocktails off online as its false advertising. Food was decent and thats all positivity i could think off. If you are looking for a nice bar that ticks all the boxes theres an upmarket bar called pineapple on Parnell a few doors up from this place.

Comment: NO ONE is making a scene. The only person that can't take constructive criticism is you. Be professional! Even your comment is so immature. This is what we've experienced when we came to the restaurant so why would we fake our experience??! As for the the young manager Ive nothing against him the other thing we expected was professionalism and being clear that half of the cocktails looked nothing like the photo's on your website and also that you werent capable of making it. You can't expect people to pay that amount and expect just a fruit juice premix looking cocktail. This isn't the standard of Parnell. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT: wow, it amazes me how you can just lie. We NEVER REPEATED the drink order cause the first round tasted so bad. We also weren't in a group... Also, it doesn't take much common sense to see the difference in the photos.

I came here to give my honest review as I always do. After reading the owner's responses to some other low stars reviews, I got kinda scared to be honest. But I do want to share my real experience so the community can make informed decisions.

The staff were very nice and attentive and I'm sorry I didn't have the balls to express my opinion to the staff as it wasn't really their fault.

The cocktails were nothing like the photos. Even if you say you change your menu regularly, the aesthetic should have the same quality. You will see in my photo that this was not the case. My friend and I ordered two different cocktails and they look the same but different colours. I don't judge a book by its cover but the taste was also below average. I mean for $20, I expected similar quality to caretakers. Caretakers make different cocktails for everyone, yet their aesthetic maintains the same quality.

I learnt from my lesson to not be fooled by the photos but to actually read other reviews before visiting first. I do hope that they can use the feedback to improve their business but judging from the previous responses, I don't know...
