For $50pp I think the buffet is not worth it. At most I think it should be around $25-30pp with the food options we get.
Service here is actually decent with the staff offering us a free drink upon arrival. Also, helping us take plates and refill hotpot water from our table.
Atmosphere is not bad, place is clean probably because it is new. But after staying for an hour inside the place it felt just like any Chinese hotpot place which you will smell like hotpot afterwards. The best thing is that the place is not too cramped which is important for a buffet, even with asian uncles and aunties rushing to get the seafood.
As for the food, if you want to eat your money's worth probably only go for the oysters, mussels, squid tentacles and hotpot. The hot foods on the metal trays literally felt like a Chinese takeaway (I think the takeaways have better taste honestly). Everything just felt bland. There was one time I was waiting for the egg tarts to refill and when they finally did, I took a bite and it was lukewarm and soggy, almost like they bought it elsewhere in the morning and left them till late just to dish them out. Honestly I think they did not hire any chefs during service or they only do cooking in the morning for the dishes. The only chefs available during dinner time was us, the customers doing the hotpot cooking.
In conclusion, probably would not come here again for $50pp at least. It would be cool if they hire chefs to replace the cheap chinese takeaway foods to dim sums etc. But highly unlikely as this place is more towards mainland than souther...
Read moreWe came here for the oysters in this buffet, but we didn't find any after eating for a long time. When we asked the waiter, he said that they replaced the oysters with sashimi because oysters were out of season. It felt very unfair. We came here because we saw the oysters in the promotion, but there was only an unknown sashimi. And there was only a small amount, and the sashimi was often empty. If there were no oysters, I felt that the price was not worth it. Even if they wanted to replace it, they should replace it with something of equal value, or cancel such promotions as soon as possible. They couldn't wait until customers came for oysters before finding out that there were none. The other cooked food tasted average, and the ingredients were all relatively cheap. The kelp used in the hot pot was actually kelp shreds, not the common kelp slices and kelp knots, which was neither professional nor delicious. The mushrooms were pre-prepared dishes, not fresh. The yam was frozen. The fruits were also the cheapest. It felt like they served whatever dish was the most cost-effective. It's really not worth it, and we won't go there again. I just checked Google Maps, and oysters are still displayed in the merchant's special menu. The false advertising is...

At 50 dollars per person with all you can eat being on the table, Buffett Buffet achieves what the name has set out to describe.
The food offered is consistently refilled despite the sheer number of patrons taking portions. The caveat is the range and subsequent quality of the food which is in no means bad but is fairly limited.
The food offered is the standard fare that can be expected from a buffet with a hotpot and chinese/chinese-european theme. The food while somewhat palatable is limited in range being mundane and unremarkable.
Service is fast, responsive and warm. With many staff circling around to clear empty plates and offer refills for you pot, it is a comfortable location to indulge in simple delights found in a the buffet. Definitely a distinguishable highlight throughout the night, thank you to the hardworking staff.
The atmosphere is simple and clean with tables and stations kept mostly well maintained, as best as a buffet can be.
Buffett Buffet is a simple buffet that has standard offerings that while are likeable, are not particularly desirable. Asides from the food there's...
