my husband and i were perusing all the delectable options commercial bay had to offer; a coin toss between us brought us to the doorstep of burger burger. with our mouths watering with anticipation, the attentive waitstaff brought forth our entrees and mains with ease. i’m a sucker for a classic cheeseburger extra cheese, so the beef and cheese burger was a fabulous option for me. requesting extra cheese with no pickles was a breeze; i was concerned i’d be inconveniencing our waiter and the kitchen staff but regardless, he assured us there was no issue at hand with a grin. and let me just say; best burger i’ve ever tried; mcdonald’s but if they had class and good taste. each bite took me to another level of euphoria, the flavours were practically dancing off my tongue. and they have sawmill pilsner on tap? i had to blink back tears of joy. their aperitivo hour deal was also such a steal; potato skins and a aperol spritz for like $25? say less; i was sold. hubby and i loved it. we got the mini donuts for dessert and after devouring those, i will never darken the doorstep of a dunkin donuts again, i even took another serving to go. this establishment ate; served & licked the plate. shoutout to becky and yarni for taking care of us; they accommodated my demands of extra cheese on every savoury dish, despite how inconvenient i imagine that must’ve been, they took my requests on with ease and reassurance of it not being a problem. all the stars in the galaxy cannot quantify the amount that this review deserves. do yourself a favour and pull up to burger burger com bay for a cheeky dinner; the staff are fabulous and the burgers are to die for. my husband and i will definitely be back on our next date...

We're big fans of Burger Burger and are regulars. Huge burgers, loads of great vegetarian and pescatarian options (including the Impossible burger patty, quinoa and mushroom patties, fish etc), yummy seasonal salads with fish, chicken or vege patty options, gluten free/keto options. All very tasty and easy ordering via a QR code at the table, and great drink options. Plus seasonal specials menu which are great new options. My favs are the Fish Tacos, The Impossible Burger, Vege Burger, Vege Beef & Cheese, Fish Burger. They have a liquor licence and bar and you can get wine, beer, spirits or cocktails or shakes, sodas etc. They do a good espresso martini. They need a comments section in the online ordering so you can add in requests. I wish they'd bring back the large wine serving size. My only gripe is the wine serving used to be good - it's served in a heavy thick based glass (staff need to note this) and you used to be able to order a large size wine too. Staff changes / ownership changes? and now the wine serving is small (I got a tiny glass of wine in a regular size glass - only a few mouthfuls and it was gone) and you can't get the large size...

We Came on Matariki . The entire restaurant was a ghost town apart from one other couple . Ordered a meal for my husband - was told it would be 15-20 mins and after already ordering told there would be two surcharges - one for Matariki 15% and another for my card another 2% We went to get some food elsewhere for me ( due to extreme dietary restrictions due to breastfeeding a very sensitive newborn who was with us - I could not have anything on the menu at all) . We got back to get his meal , got his order and sat in on the many available chairs . Moments later the Caucasian male who served us came over and was quick to say “ we don’t allow outside food here - but I’ll let you stay “this time” just take all Your rubbish with you “ . Super unfriendly and seemed a lot more interested in laying down policy than customer relations . The service was redeemed slightly by the nice Eastern / Indian male who interacted with our baby and said she was cute .
