Defora Cafe — Restaurant in Waitematā

I’d had a busy morning and was in dire need of quick sustenance! Passing through Westmere, I spotted a cluster of tables roadside and quickly pulled over. The alfresco seats were all taken but when I entered Coffee Defora, I did notice a spacious area at the rear of the cafe. I ordered coffee and a salmon croissant. As luck would have it, one of the outside tables was vacated so I was able to sit and enjoy the sunshine and cool breeze as I waited, My mocha was superbly restorative and the salmon croissant delicious! The range of food available looked fresh and inviting, the two staff courteous and efficient. If I’d the time I would have ordered a brownie from their display cabinet but unfortunately time was against me. I will save this treat for...

Came here with my wife for breakfast, quite a cozy cafe and we were able to take a table outside. They do drinks (coffee etc) and cabinet food, a good selection for various dietary requirements. I had a breakfast bagel (scrambled egg and bacon) and a cinnamon scroll, and a Americano. My wife had small egg quiche muffins and tea. Food was great with the cinnamon scroll being my highlight. I think you would only want to come as a small group as our food came out staggered and delay between mine and my wife's made me wonder if it had been forgotten (suspect they can only heat one item at a time). We spent some time having a light breakfast and coffee while the flower shop next door were completing the flowers that we had to collect. Great ambiance and very friendly staff. Service was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Very friendly locals with whom we exchanged so conversation. Will reccomend it to future customers. Will be returning...
