Domino's Pizza Quay St — Restaurant in Waitematā

04/11/2018 - Rang Quay Street just before 12.30am to be greeted with no phone mannerism and to be told the oven is broken, I replied so your shop is closed and you cannot serve walk-ins!! She rudely just put the phone down on the counter and spoke with a angry tone to her colleague while leaving me on the other end of the phone so I waited about 3mins and listened to her speak in a language I couldn’t understand with no intention to come back on the phone. I decide to drive to the shop as I literally live under a 5min drive away. Surprise I arrive and there a three different customers that are waiting for there order!! I then tell the lady I spoke to on the phone after I placed my order at the counter and said I was the guy you told like 5mins ago that you couldn’t take orders etc. She was shocked and said the ovens just got fixed and working again. (You know how you can tell someone is lying! You so could tell with her). She then told her colleague to not make my order because I questioned her, but I was very cool & calm while doing this. Also one of those three customers heard me talking with the staff & came to the side of me and said “mate I must of put my order in the same time as to when you rang if you only 5mins away and the ovens were working fine”!!!

As a shift Manager for quay Street she lacked simple basic customer service and was the purest form of rudeness ever!!

I am vegeterian for ethical reasons so I ordered takeaway pizzas Vegorama and Impossible El Scorcho on Saturday 04/03/2023 around 9pm. I came home and in excitement took one bit of Impossible Elsorcho and saw pepperoni on my slice. I got shocked and realised because of pepperoni that the staff gave me the real beef and not vegan beef. I have never tasted beef but I think it was the meat El Scorcho Pizza. Store manager/owner you can double check with your cameras. I am disappointed with the store manager/owner instead of staff as there was just one staff working in that store on Saturday night and not sure if she was trained properly. There was one other group of people who has a same complaint that they got meat on their vegeterian pizza. Again you can double check with your cameras. I didn't take photo or have the physical reciept as I was not sure if I will write this review. But I can share my bank reciept as proof. It's really shameful to not take your customer's dietary preferences seriously while running...

The service person was awful. He threaten me and my friend to leave the store. He kept yelling and said curse words too.

We placed the order online and got the receipt for pickup service. When we reached to the store (Domino's Quay street), the person working there simply said that he did not receive the order and denied to acknowledge the problem. When we tried to reason with him, he started shouting. We immediately took out our mobile camera to take a picture of him, seeing that, he jumped over from the counter trying to threaten us. He came towards us yelling curse words. This all happened at the time of Corona pandemic when we all are advised to keep social distancing. It was not at all expected from anyone specially someone working for such a reputed brand like Domino's.

I ask everyone not to go there after evening if you want to spare yourself from some drama.
