All in all a good venue, prepay parking is good, less stress but too expensive for parking, $20, 6pm to 11pm, most concerts will run till 12pm. Lots of staff were helpful, but very small seats & leg space, I'm a average size man 5'8", every time someone gets up to go out everyone in the row has to stand up to let them out, also the stairs in the arena are not child or elderly friendly, there must be a better safer design for hand-rails. The seats are really uncomfortable too, take a bum cushion, no cup holders or side trays, everyone wants food & drink, your so close to the person next to you its like your eating out of their lap. No rubbish bins in the arena. The two rather small big screens on the stage are in the wrong place, need big screens above the performer not on the side of the stage. I really enjoyed the concert was cool, good mix of people, singles, Mums and Dads, pregnant couples, lots of kids and young-ins too, all having a really good time. Don't wait buy that ticket and go to your favourite artist, band, concert or show.

Van Gogh alive - art experience This was well worthwhile. A beautiful artistic reflection of Van Gogh himself. His deep feeling and emotions combining with deep thoughts appeared to paint a picture very true to the 4w5 enneagram type he is thought to be. Words of advice.. I was told you are able to stay as long as you like despite it running in sessions. There is an area at the beginning for viewing paintings, personally I feel not enough time is given for this before interactive show starts, after the show you exit and can visit the sunflower room. A room with mirrors and sunflowers, lovely place to take a photo. I exited after this, thinking that was it but after asking was told we were allowed to reaccess the first painting room again. Had I not been with others who needed to go, I could well have spent another hour there. Estimated ideal time would be 90 to 120 mins for those who process things deeply and like to reflect. Some may finish in as quick as an hour.

Went to the Iron Maiden concert on 16/09/24. Iron maiden were awesome! One of the best shows I've ever been too. But as a venue I would NOT RECOMMEND going here. We paid a heap of money for Premium VIP tickets, we were supposed to get bags with band merchandise, early entry into the show before all the other ticket holders and free drinks in the VIP Lounge. It was so unorganized. The VIP tickets were a complete waste of money, The staff here couldn't organise their way out of a wet paperbag! The VIP Lounge opened half an hour late, so we only got a couple of drinks, we had to go upstairs through another area and then back downstairs to FIND our free merchandise (no staff told us where it was, it was not in the VIP area where it should be) then security guards wouldn't let us through after the other guards told us to go that way to get our free merch. And by the time we got back to the VIP lounge the concert had started and we ended up in a rubbish place in the centre of the arena. Instead of up the front where we had paid to be. And should have been seeing as we were over an hour early. We are NOT HAPPY!!! This was my first time at Spark Arena. I WILL NOT BE BACK !!! Most of the staff were useless and didn't care that we had pretty much missed out On the whole VIP experience. Wellington Sky Stadium and Wellington TSB Arena run rings around this place. If I could give Spark Arena half a star I would!!!

An excellent experience. Seats are extremely comfortable, with cushioning- a welcome change to most stadium seats, which are hard and cold. Toilets are very clean and there are plenty, so not a long wait. For Spark customers you can enter early and go to the S Lounge- first in first serve. In the S Lounge you can get one free drink from the bar and free food. It's a very classy place, and there is even a live band for entertainment. You can also go outside onto the long balcony, which has lots of tables and is lovely in the Auckland climate. Would absolutely recommend, this is the best stadium I have ever been to. Pictured: the view from the rooftop balcony (1), and our view of the stage at the exceptional Arctic Monkeys concert from our seats down the back (2).

We found it challenging to find a car park that cost us an arm and a leg. We found one for $9 from 6 pm until 6 am about 1 km from Spark arena. Other car parks are quite expensive. If you are attending an event at Spark Arena, I suggest arriving early because you have to deal with two things. 1. Parking 2. Getting in the venue. You cannot take food or water inside but have an option to buy food inside. If you buy soft drinks, you will get the soft drinks without any cap. This is because of their recycling policies which I find crazy since without a cap, your drink can spill and it will go flat. Anyway, bring your own cap. It is better to study the Spark arena layout on the website so you know where to go. Spark arena stairs to the topmost quite steep so be careful.

Went to The Corr's concert on the 9th November 2023 at Spark Arena. The supporting artists were amazing and the main act (The Corr's) were as good as when I saw them over 30years ago, but want to congratulate the Arena's floor staff who were all very professional with their service and handling of patrons that had seated themselves in the wrong seats.🕴One of these attendants was a person called ''Charity'' who was stationed near our seats. She was amazing and even went and got my friend and I, cups of water, so we didn't have to leave our seats during the break before the main act was on stage. She also checked on us at other times to see if we were OK. 👍So thank you ''Charity'' for helping to make our night out an amazing experience.👏
