Naturals Bake and Coffee — Restaurant in Waitematā

Natural Bakery is right across from Auckland Port. When we visited, there weren’t a lot of pies to choose from, but the two we picked turned out to be really good!

The first one I tried was the classic bacon and egg pie. There were three pieces of bacon at the bottom, a whole egg sitting in the middle, and a bit of creamy egg around it. The flavors were nicely balanced, and it wasn’t dry at all.

The second was the potato top pie. The mashed potato was creamy inside and crispy on top — so good! The beef filling didn’t have any weird meaty smell, and you could taste the natural sweetness from the onions.

Both pies were simple but tasty. Would definitely pop back in...
