Celebrated my Birthday today with a group of 12 friends. I have booked the little room at the back. What a lovely evening that was! A selection of drinks was very impressive. Cocktails were done at the highest standard. The nibbles were pre-ordered and were delicious without exception. We felt very welcomed and Gourav, the host was very considerate and attentive to our needs. The decor of this place, that is full of history, fully transforms the visitor into the long gone era. I absolutely love this place! Beautiful food, cosy environment, amazing cocktails and friendly staff. I came along for the live music jazz night and had a blast. My table was attended to by G, who was so friendly and ensured we had the best time. He makes THE BEST cocktails! We ordered the sliders which were absolutely delish! G regularly checked in with us; we didn't have to move for anything all night. Can't recommend this place enough - easily the best cocktails in town.

A little hard to fathom some of the other experiences described here. I'd say that the service is on the slow side and the passion and love of hosting suggested and expressed in some of these other reviews frankly lacking on the night I went. Food: also well and average for the portion size and the care put into it.
