A group of us had very nice ice cream tonight which was five star but the service was one star. First of all the ladies behind the counter served us one by one then only to get confused about how much to charge us due to being confused about how many ice creams we ordered. One lady said $15.90 but we told her what we ordered and she said that would cost a little bit more plus we ordered one coffee. I handed over a $40 cash and got just over $4.00 back. Turn out one of the people in the group paid for their coffee. We were given incorrect change and then told we didn't pay enough. My dad just handed over the money. Worst experience ever at an ice cream parlour.

I’ve never encountered such rude behaviour in the hospitality industry, especially here in New Zealand. The staff member – a healthy-built lady with black hair and purple streaks at the front – was incredibly dismissive and behaved as if she was doing me a favour by serving, rather than simply doing her job. Her attitude made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, almost as if I wasn’t worthy of placing or paying for my order.

Extremely disappointed with the service. Definitely not returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy...

Chill vibes and exceptionally cheerful staff. Always delightful to be greeted with smiles, and nothing brings joy like a generous serving of gelato. Reasonably priced with comfortable seating too

Delicious flavours and kept well for a smooth texture, perfect companion on a late autumn/early winter afternoon.

Did I mention the cheerful staff? There were these two young ladies in particular, always smiling, with one skipping around the shop spreading joy and doing hopscotches on her way in and out of the shop.
