Worst customer service EVER!!! Was planning to stay at their place but unfortunately due to a family member in hospital so I had to pay additional bill this week so I'm short on the check in deposit!
Called the hotel to see if they can give an exception since I'm only staying for ONE night but this Indian night manager because of the Indian accent so I can tell! She refused to do anything to help out even for ONE bloody night!
Other hotel are more lenient & helpful like the Edit Hotel! If it isn't the fact that Edit is booked via Agoda this week I wouldn't even bat an eye on this thrash customer service hotel!!
For ONE NIGHT ONLY they should be more tolerant! Especially their deposit is so high like $200 for ONE bloody night at least they can ask if I can pay a lower deposit but this Indian night manager & her appaling disgusting attitude who kept say no no NO instead trying to come up with a better solution! It just shows what kind of hotel this is!!
If you want to be treated better stay away from this hotel! Clearly this Indian staff ain't cut out for customer service role & don't know how to go above & beyond for...

Positives: Great location Excellent bed Okay condition of room Quiet and well insulated from street noise Good shower and toiletries
But: Rather small room with only a single chair Not very clean and we found hair in two separate places in the bathroom; the carpet and bathroom floor were quite dirty in places; there was a red food smear (pasta?) on sheer curtain Very, very smelly drains in the bathroom: every time when returning after a few hours away (and air conditioning had stopped), the room stank badly Extremely limited kitchenette: no saucers, no cutlery, no coffee machine - not even a small plunger Tiny hanging closet TV turning on at random times including once at 3 AM, after which had to turn it off at the wall (behind the TV) After three days the room was “serviced” but rubbish dropped (by staff!) was left on the floor, toilet paper was not topped up, and bedding not replaced; rubbish bin liner left hanging out; similarly, a long piece of (packing?) string was left on the hallway carpet for three...
Read moreI had to visit Auckland last month for things to do and turned it into a sightseeing trip. I haven’t been to some of the islands nor ridden the ferries and wanted to stay in a central place so I picked this one. Stayed for 4 nights, the room is quite spacious and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. I liked the beds and the check in and check out process was easy. The whole stay went very smoothly. The location is good if you’re wanting a place close to the CBD but also close to nice breakfast and dinner options and ferries and transport. I just took an Uber from the airport and it was a pretty quick ride. I didn’t have a car I read that you have to pay for parking which discouraged me from getting a car but if you’re just wanting to do things in Auckland for a short trip this is a perfect stay. Check out the cafes associated with the Hotel for their breakfast. I particularly liked Wander cafe which is just around the corner. There’s also a Woolies metro if you need anything. Nice views from the hotel room and plenty of areas...
