We ordered the "Steak, Stout & Cheese" and the "Brisket, Jalapeño & American Cheese" pies online and picked them up from Pie Rollas at K Road. Both pies were phenomenal!
The Steak, Stout & Cheese was a perfect blend of hearty flavors. The steak was tender, cooked just right, and beautifully infused with the rich stout. The cheese added a velvety smoothness, rounding off the flavor profile wonderfully. Each bite had a satisfying depth, making it feel like a comforting, gourmet experience.
The Brisket, Jalapeño & American Cheese pie had a great kick! The smoky brisket was juicy and flavorful, perfectly balanced by the creamy American cheese. The jalapeños brought the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste, adding a fresh zing. It was bold, indulgent, and irresistibly delicious.
The pastry on both pies was golden, flaky, and buttery – exactly how you’d hope for! Picking them up was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavors. Highly...
Read moreFully over the "hood" pies, taste buds are screaming quality over quantity. Drove in from South Auckland, Especially to try it.
Great online order option. Order came down to x5 Pies and One with Mash and Gravy over Mince and Cheese. Stout steak and cheese hit all the flavors of a great home made, warm, hearty stew. Bacon and Egg not lacking in either. Had a distinct pepper hint which complimented the over all flavour. Pulled Pork - Generous amount of filling which i absolutely enjoyed. You won't find the air pocket you would usually find in most average pies in this one. Chicken Pie Son ate this one and he loved it. Mince and Cheese with Mash and Gravy Absolutely 10/10 for my wife (Who does not like pies) She loved this and reminded her of a lovely home made Shephards Pie which did not need any tomatoe sauce lol on any of the pies we ordered. Will go back again YES! Was it worth the drive & Money? HELL YES!.
SEE YOU AGAIN...
Read moreThis ain’t the Pie I remember! Seventeen bucks for one pie? Never thought I’d see the day I’d be dropping over 30 dollars just for two pies. They’re fresh and tasty, sure, but you’ve gotta wait ages before you can even take a bite. Still, pies starting at $10 feels a bit off from what used to be a good ol’ everyday meal. Probably doesn’t bother tourists, but for me, it’s a bit sad to see how much it’s changed. That said, once you try it, you can tell it’s worth the price. It’s a bloody good pie, just not the cheap feed...
