First impressions, smelt like pee and cleaning products at the entrance staircase. On entering, the smell was not really noticeable though. Multiple individual food places, hence being called a foodcourt I guess. Most of the restaurants’ portions are huge. The thai place was really good. According to my Japanese family member (I too am Japanese but that doesn’t matter so much) was a little disappointed with the japanese place’s chicken. Drinks place is too expensive, but I suppose that’s just how much drinks cost these days everywhere. Lots of seating, including for large groups, but very busy at dinner and lunch time, so may not be easy to find a spot to eat. All of the restaurants use electronic table numbers, so you can go and pick up your food when it is ready and not stand around waiting. Can get hot inside, and noisy when customers and talking a lot. I am trying a pad thai at every thai restaurant I go to in New Zealand, and this so far is on of the best. My friend will agree, it’s in his top 2. The orange juice for 9 dollars seems like a ripoff, but people seem to enjoy it.
