I ordered a chicken sandwich, chicken soup, and a turmeric latte. While the turmeric latte and chicken soup were okay, I found a piece of hair stuck to the bottom of the sandwich. I only found the piece of hair after I finished most of the sandwich. It made me feel quite upset so I raised this issue with the cafe staff members. I asked for a refund of the sandwich only (it costed $9.90). The manager/supervisor of the cafe asked me why did I only raise the issue after I almost finished the sandwich. I didn't try any food this time, but just glancing at the cabinet, there was still a wide variety of food.
The place has been renovated and was very neat, but I wasn't as fond of the table spacing/arrangement - it was a bit cramped, and given that I was there at morning coffee time and there were only three other people there, it didn't seem necessary.
The barista/cashier also brought the coffee to the wrong table at first, and had an annoyed or bored look on her, it was a bit...
