I'm really sad! We used to frequent the Garden hotel specifically for the wings deal on Wednesday. Unfortunately our latest trip was not well received. Upon being directed to a table we waited around 15 minutes to be served (while watching staff unload dishes) bare in mind there were not a lot of people. After ordering the food service was very slow. Within an hour of being there I had had 4 wings. It was two of us at the table and we were brought 4 Wings to start, then 2 wings followed by 3 (which is an odd number to bring two pax) we also had to ask for water. When we asked the staff they said that they had a previous table and then they had to share the wing around, however there were not many tables eating. They also claimed that due to our sauce choices it made it harder for the chefs (which doesn't really make sense as the sauce is added after). The only thing that kept us as long as we did was the drag preformer in the background. We left after being frustrated with the experience. We felt as like we did not get our moneys worth whatsoever and not being remotely satisfied. When we left they asked how it was ans we were honest we said that the service and the experience was not good having to wait so long however the staff did not seem to care and just said fair enough. It's really disappointing but now we will need to find...

Total disaster… We went there for a “90’ party bottomless brunch”. It opened and started at 11:30am. Right from the beginning it was a 30 minute queue at the bar to get a drink… There wasn’t THAT many people. The bar tenders were super inexperienced, one of them had to ask his colleague what a “mimosa” was.

Oh and they gave us dirty glasses!

We had 4 drinks each, and the food took …. 3 and a half hours to arrive!!!!!!!! Note that All the menu had been confirmed weeks prior with the booking so they had time to get ready and organize themselves O_o… The whole thing was a mess, from getting a drink at the bar and waiting for the food. It was the same for all the tables… The table next to us, and one person from our own group (who had commitments in the avo) left before the food even arrived.

We tried to complain to the manager. All he said was “if you want I can give you the email of my manager”. Not offering a drink or any gesture to compensate for the wait….

I dont like to leave bad reviews since I have relatives who are in the hospitality business, I know it’s hard. But in this case it felt almost as a scam. I forgot to mention that the tickets were 80$ each!!

To sum it up : “90’ brunch party at the garden hotel” -...

We were very disappointed with the service yday. We went for a friend's bday. 2 of the ladies ordered the bottomless brunch and 3 of us wanted to order from the normal menu. When I asked the manager for a normal menu (which their website clearly has), he said there wasn't one and we needed to order from the bottomless menu that had no prices. He said most things were around $20 and walked away. We waited 1.5 hours for our food to arrive, with neither waiter nor manager apologising for the delay! Those that ordered meals with toast/ciabatta/sourdough could easily have broken their teeth i.e. one couldn't even cut the toast with a knife let alone break it apart with your fingers. I ordered the Crushed Tomatoe Salad and when the waitress brought my food everyone's jaw almost dropped to the ground from disbelief. It looked like a plate of garnish - 4 slices of tomatoe, two baby tomatoes sliced, some pesto and a poached egg so small you could barely see it. Then the 2 ladies in our group with the bottomless brunch ordered their 4th cocktail but were told that their order had possibly gone to another table and the bar was now closed so couldn't have...

Basic food priced accordingly. Good looking gin menu and some very well priced magnums that we'll have to come back for. Staff could do with a bit more training/experience however, and I've never been asked by the kitchen when to start making our mains - which some might see as considerate but I think they should know how to time meals. Not proactive with basics like water, cutlery, clean glasses (literally given a dirty glass), and would start running off before we finished ordering. Overall OK for a cheap snack or light dinner with a few drinks. Loaded fries good value.

I attended this garden yesterday. Jee wizz, what a treat. Sprawling vines graced my face as i wanked all about the gaff. The staff welcomed us with open legs. Our drinks were served before we even awoke in the morning! Who is the gardener that maintains these grounds? I’d very much like to have them groom my money tree, which is buried in fertiliser. Bring good gloves and a loving tongue please gardener! Ruff 🐶 ruff 🐶

We come here for the bottomless brunch which we all enjoyed. I was disappointed that they no longer have the peanut butter waffle with fried chicken. The food and menu was good and drinks kept flowing in but not very strong. Friendly staff, great decor, good value for money if your having the bottomless brunch. I recommend the beef brisket. Highly recommend.
