Little Treats Cafe New Lynn — Restaurant in Whau

The service I received by the lady at the counter today was absolutely disgusting. I decided to visit this cafe based on google reviews and was very disappointed how I was treated today. she took my order made me and my partner wait for so long. she kept serving other customers who arrived after us even the customers started noticing we were being ignored. when I finally gave up on waiting I went to her and asked her why she kept serving everyone else except us and she had the nerve to reply me in a very ignorant tone saying the customers who came after us are their regular customers, When I asked her the second time again she gave me an excuse saying the kitchen is taking too long, um but I ordered a coffee and a muffin from the counter not the kitchen ? Her response was horrible and unacceptable ! She handed me the money without even apologizing. Hope she learns to be a little nicer and not repeat this behaviour with...

The cafe itself was really cute, it had nice chairs ( armchairs instead of normal wooden chairs) which I loved and quite a few plants. The food was good and pretty affordable! The black forest smoothie was a not too sweet cherry chocolate banana smoothie and I really enjoyed it but I wish the cherry taste was stronger than the banana. I also really enjoyed the panini, the chicken was smokey and the panini was a very appropriate amount of cheesy and garlicky. The highlight was definitely the Oreo cheesecake though! It was jiggly and it was fluffy and soft and light and bouncy and not too sweet with a thick cookie crust! It was just amazing! I think the food is quite affordable and I really didn't have any issues but there wasn't that wow factor that made me immediately want to give it five stars but definitely...

It’s been exactly 1 year since me and my partner visited this wonderful cafe and I still think about the banana muffins.

This was my original review: we hopped off the bus and saw it. i loved the name and dragged my partner in huge selection of sweet and savoury treats we chose a coffee, hot chocolate and two of the muffins (banana & dark chocolate and raspberry & white chocolate) the muffins were beyond delicious, the banana one being our favourite so definitely recommend drinks were superb we sat in lovely comfy seats. atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed the service was incredible, the staff were amazing, so polite and happy presentation was spectacular. beautiful latte art, cute saucers and cups stunning place 10/10 cannot...
