Good spot, large venue, mediocre food. We ate the prawn al ajillo and fish soup. Not terrible, just okay and the prices were good. A couple of things happened which made us wonder if there was a scammy vibe here. One of which was apparently this bar had no wine or rum so the waitress suggested sangria. When we paid at the end for the sangria was really expensive, when I asked to see the price on the menu it didn't exist on there. When I explained that the price seemed way too expensive conpTed to other drinks Inc cocktails she said there was no option to negotiate. They then however allowed us to reduce the amount of service charge to reflect the excessive cost of sangria... makes no sense. We paid in cash, but were slightly short changed.. not worth the fight so we left. The learning point for us was if a professional bar does not have many drinks, and then offers you a drink which isn't in the menu- confirm...
Read moreWent here on a Sunday afternoon for a quuck bite and it was pretty empty. I ordered a burger and a beer and It was prepped pretty quuckly. When it was time to get the bill, the waiter was sitting on a stool outside chatting with some lady and with his back to the dining area where I was. I had to get up and and ask for it then I followed him to the counter to pay. An additiinal 10% was added to the total without explanation. It was too small of a sum to dispute with the waiter but nevertheless it is ridiculous. I wouldn't go again to a burger joint with average food and bad service. A block from thete, you can get steak dinner for the same price. I would encourage everybody to challenge these automatic tip additions...

We ordered creamy shrimp soup, come w/ rice, chip & local salsa, and a plate of chicken pieces fried rice, come w/ goat chz & crackers, very Latin flavor. Along w/ a liter of Nicaragua cold beer Tona for $2, life was good! After dinner around 11:40pm, a bid too much beer for finishing that whole liter, we only need to walk 20 feet to talk to a taxi driver to take us back to hotel for 60...
