we were shown to the table, it started with the fact that the waitress was too young to even advise about beer, we waited for another waiter, he accepted the order, but could not answer how much the rolls weighed, he only knew how many parts they were cut into, this is very strange - I don’t know the weight of the dish, okay, I asked for scientific chopsticks, they don’t have any special features or not - I don’t know, they twisted my chopsticks into a napkin from which they fell and didn’t hold on, okay, then I saw how my order was prepared, the cook rang this bell, but no one came, I didn’t want my rolls to stand and die, I also really wanted to eat, I went for the rolls, checked my table, returned to my table, kept the plates for myself, okay, I can do this, okay. but when I ate the roll, I didn’t find another type of fish inside the roll, and what was sprinkled on top was also mixed up on the rolls, well, that’s also generally okay, I don’t expect much from local establishments, but that’s what I definitely don’t What I'm waiting for is rudeness on the part of the waiters, when I mentioned that there was no fish in the roll, the waiter very brazenly stated that. everyone makes mistakes, and so do I, I didn’t hear the banal excuse for this situation, did he want it to make me feel guilty or what? Very unpleasant experience. We’ve waited for good 10 minutes just to order because the staff was too occupied being on their phones or talking to each other completely unbothered by their surroundings. I understand the shifts can get long and boring but I think a bit of professionalism is at place. If you want to be on your phone or talk to your colleagues do it privately. After my food was ready it was waiting at the counter for solid 10 minutes even tho they have a bell that rang to notify the waitresses. Couple of them even walked past the counter with 3 plates of food completely ignoring it. When one of them finally decided to bring me my food she couldn’t handle carrying 3 plates which would be fine by me if she didn’t decide to carry them anyway and by her poor skills touching my food with her hand trying to balance all of the plates. When she arrived to the table she put the plates down without saying anything nor apologizing for her touching the food. Didn’t say a word and left after putting all the dishes down quite aggressively. After all this i expected the food to at least compensate for the unpleasant experience so far but the food ended up being very dry with no actual flavour. When we decided to pay and leave the waitress behind the counter was on her phone the whole time barely paying any attention to us. Overall this is a place not really...

I'm really not the type to throw around 1 star reviews whenever I'm mildly inconvenienced by some place, but hear me out, we arrived, got some water, asked for 3 min to decide on food. We had to get up after 15-20 minutes to find a server. There were 10-15 people in the restaurant.

Anyways, the food arrived fast enough, however I think I have had better sushi from convenience stores, it was kinda shocking. I have never had bland sushi before I think, but what I got was just that. The rice was dry and tasteless, the seaweed was outright chewy, and there was no particular notable flavor on any of the Maki rolls. As for the nigiri, much of the same story with the dry rice and blandness, I believe the piece of tuna speaks for itself, it was quite sad.

After the meal, to really round of the experience, we tried to get the attention of waiters for another 20+ minutes to pay. Just to round it off, the whole restaurant is priced about the same as one of the other 5+ cheaper sushi places in Bergen (there is a plethora of other sushi places in this town, I urge you to go to one of them instead)

An end note since I just got reminded of this review by Google, following the visit I had stomach cramps for 2 days afterwards, I no doubt blame it on this meal. I have also from friends who have eaten here heard it described as...
