To Michelin stars? After a polite and efficient reseption we got a table with a view. We chose the food festival menu. For causes of pure innovative delight. The first cause was a dream of smoked trout, ballansed with jerusalem artichoke cream, pickled red onions, crisp green cabbage and a fantastic glaze. The Riesling matched the dish perfectly. Our expectations increased. The second cause was equally perfectly presented. The lobster bisque with chanterells, fennel, pea sprouts and crab meet. A beautiful chardonnay bound it all together. The heat and the subtile smokey flavour tickled our tastebuds. The main cause was another new invention. Lamb cooked to perfection on a bed of delights. Sweet corn puree, fresh berries, artichoke hearts, pea sprouts and roasted corn. The Rioja with body and dry long finish was a Devine match. A chocolate creation full of nutty flavours, caramel and crunchy nutts came last. The dessert was delicious and so was the Italian sweet wine. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We will definitely...

From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, we were given disdainful looks by the staff. The waiter who greeted us was chewing gum so loudly that it almost made our ears hurt. He rolled his eyes when we told him we didn’t have a reservation. However, we did get a table. The arrogant behavior continued throughout our meal. The food was edible, nothing special. Also the waiter continued chewing his gum conspicuously the entire time we were there. The place itself is quite beautiful and nicely located. It's a shame that the arrogant staff completely ruins the atmosphere. We had been walking all day and my sisters bloodsugar crashed down (diabetic type 1) and we came to the first restaurant we found to take shelter from the rain, something to eat, and get the bloodsugar up and under control, so we weren't dressed to the nines. Perhaps this was the reason for the disdainful looks? Who knows. But our visit was short, just long enough to fill our stomachs...

Disappointing Experience – Rude Service

I visited this restaurant for the first time today after wanting to try it for a while, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was met with silence and a look of disgust from the server who greeted me. She then guided me to a table, but when I politely asked to be seated somewhere quieter, she completely ignored my request.

Instead of offering any sort of customer service or accommodation, she suggested I should just leave the restaurant. I was taken aback by her rude and dismissive attitude. I stayed polite, but ultimately decided to leave.

I expected better from a place that had been on my list for so long, but the lack of courtesy and basic respect from the staff made it a very unpleasant experience. I won’t be...

Ordered the omelette with smoked salmon toast. Burger and sweet potato fries for my wife - yeah, she doesn't care for breakfast. Food was tasty, portions good. The decor was probably the best part. Sleek, modern, and dim lights. Our waiter was forgettable - I don't mean this disrespectfully, but certain service members truly stand out, and unfortunately, he did not. It's possible I misread, but it seemed like the morning wasn't going his way and he might have had trouble suppressing his feelings. I made sure to tip him anyway. =D If we're back in Bergen, I'd like to return for an evening dinner.

I ordered the lunch menu consisting of a dry croissant (could have found a better one in any convenience store) dipped in plain strawberry marmalade, the avocado toast was plain and tasteless, the omelette with cheese was cold, the chicken toast didn't come with any sauce making it dry and the smoothie was comparable to such for toddlers. Overall an aesthetic assemble of mediocre and overpriced food. My friend's fish and chips was significantly better but still nothing to celebrate. The tables are placed really close to each other, making it feel like a canteen with good views. Really disappointed.
