Espresso House Pilestredet — Restaurant in Oslo

This one is your tipical corner coffee shop. Love the coffee, the ice tea, the friendly and helpfull service, and the overall vibe of the place. However, there is quite often a giant stack of delivered wares right in front of the counter, being taken apart little by little by the same girl who needs to attend to the customers and make the orders. It destroys the atmosphere and slows down the service, naturally. They need to solve this differently. And I'm not a fan to open doors when the place has air-conditioning. That's just counter-effective since it's so warm outside. And noisy. And you get to smell the fumes from the passing busses and cars. Not cool. Oh, and the air-conditioner is super noisy, too, that's probably why they keep the door open. So, when they solve all the little annoyances, the coffee shop will once again be a great place to hang, go on adate, or sit with your laptop and do some casual work...

The coffee didn't have extra caramel in it, couldn't add more than an extra pump, the toast egg bacon was okay, would've had more bacon, the egg was great.

I found out my preference of coffee beans weren't these, very odd taste, didn't go well with the caramel, I feel there should've been more options, especially with the amount of syrup you can add.

The atmosphere was relaxing, seating comfortable, good temperature, not as many outlets as it should, seeing how this is often used by people who study and work on pc (kinda like Starbucks)

I ordered by app so I don't know how the staff was, but they messed up the order, got a coffee and bun that wasn't ordered.

Over all, I wouldn't come back, sad to have this...

Was walking the city and needed to use the restroom. We purchased a bottle of water and caffè americano and I used the toilet. It wasn’t dirty but tissue was scatter on the floor…however I expect the restroom gets a lot of use.
