A few days ago, I visited the hotel bar and ordered a passion fruit drink. After just two sips, I started feeling nauseous. I finished the drink and ordered another one, thinking maybe it was just the altitude affecting me, since the bar is quite high up. But the nausea got worse, and after returning to my room, I felt sick for hours and eventually vomited. It was clearly food poisoning. I donât know if it was due to low-quality alcohol substitutes or something not fresh, but the reaction was immediate. Also, the glass was chipped at the bottom, which is unacceptable for a drink that costs around 220 NOK.
That being said, the place itself is nice. The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff were polite and helpful. If youâre just stopping by for a coffee, a Coca-Cola, or maybe a glass of wine, it could be a pleasant experience. But when it comes to mocktails or any kind of cocktails, I personally wonât ever try them...

It's the first time I drink at a bar that doesn't offer to replace a cocktail that fell onto the floor by accident and whose staff tells you explicitly that they are too expensive to be replaced for free. As if the £20+ price tag per unit and the price of the Radisson room themselves were not covering for that kind of event. I can stand busy and rude service, I can stand wait time and tolerate high prices, but stinginess in one of the world's wealthiest countries where everything costs double, I can't accept that....
