Los Tacos Torggata — Restaurant in Oslo

Went here for a couple of beers after work with my friends. The staff working here found it to be a good idea to pester us about occupying 6 chairs around one table since they were operating under the instruction of keeping 4 chairs per table. They also tried arguing that we took up too much space on the sidewalk, but that quickly became a moot point when we just squished together. When some other guests couldn't find chairs around their table, the people working at this place wanted us to give up our chairs since they belonged to another table (Even though we were occupying the chairs long before the other guests had arrived). It was only when I then argued that two of us could move over, with our chairs to sit with the new guests (which for us were complete strangers), if it was SO important to keep 4 chairs per table, that they realised that the best solution would be to just get additional chairs from inside for the other table (As per our original suggestion).

Cheap beer, but cheap service.

Stay away if you're a bigger group of friends. Your vibe will surely be destroyed by the unintelligent pedantics...

Two stars as the food was good. Worth going for some nice tacos, nachos and drinks.

Not worth going for a service experience like we had. Ordered by App, very easy and flawless (3x drinks and food). Drinks arrived, however, only one food order arrived. After the polite patience if the other two orders would arrive as well, finishing the tacos to prevent them cooling completely. Still no food for the other 2 guests.

Asking politely where the other orders are - which was then brought another 15 minutes later. No nachos at all. "Thank you, but we also ordered Nachos to share". Answer: "I will check if that is the case." (Wow).

Nachos (which should be the easiest of their whole menu to deliver quickly) took another 10 minutes.

Asked the completely unbothered staff twice if we can get anything for the messed up order (we were thinking of just a small drink, one dessert to share...). Twice was promised to check - never got feedback on it.

So yes, good place to grab tacos if you do not care about your customer...

Looks like google just deleting my reviews. Well I try again, and hey, google, if you need me to provide you with receipt from that place as confirmation, don't hesitate, ok? If we want to build fair and trustful society we need to write truth, if you, google, are so busy to have best reviews for everything and everyone just tell it to everyone that people should not trust the reviews here. Worst taco I have ever tried in my life. Looks like people never tried a taco and how it should be. (Google, if you know how the taste of that taco was, you are always welcome to correct me) Nothing negative here. It is just constractive comment, that the staff need to consider to deliver this info to the chef who made food that evening. Service is good. Stuff friendly. But...
