Risbolle Restaurant — Restaurant in Oslo

I’ve been to this place on monday 15th July 2024 with my friend, and I’ve ordered the number 15 on the menu Kai Phad Ped after eating some of it I realised there was a long hair at the bottom of the plate under the food, after complaining I really wanted to leave the place because this was not acceptable and only pay for my friends food, but the lady working there insisted that I would pay half of the price of mine since I’ve eaten “half of it” which was not even true and she meant that the hair in the food was not maybe theirs since the cook is a man but I’ve seen two lady’s also working inside the chicken but she still neglected , and that the hair could be mine or my friends who was sitting the opposite side of me and the food was in front on me and I was wearing a hijab, I've just ate same some rice and some curry and the rest was still there, she insisted that I would pay her half of the money since I’ve started to eat the food, and telling her that this is not supposed to happen why would I pay half price for something with a hair in it and that I haven’t even eaten the full portion totally unfair to pay 108 NOK for that, after telling her that normally people don’t pay when they find hair in their food she mentioned “are you that kind of person that always finds hair in their food” also it’s not about the money it’s just their behaviour and how unfair she was, and to conclude the food didn’t taste...

Ordered two different types of fried rice. Got the chicken fried rice and Kao Pad Krapao. These two dishes are nothing like the food I had when I visited Thailand in 2024. They were not that good. The rice is too wet in texture and soggy. It is friend rice so it should be a bit dry but I’m not sure why their version of fried rice is so watery. The chicken mixed with the rice is also a bit hard, I can tell it wasn’t that fresh. While I’m happy that this restaurant has high reviews here in Google, it wasn’t my experience so I’m really not pleased with the food we ordered. I also got the peached iced tea and it was just okay. It tasted artificial though as it wasn’t an all natural iced tea. I wish they disclosed that in the menu. I was staying in the hotel near this restaurant for few days and I didn’t even tried them again as I wasn’t happy the first time. I sadly cannot...

First time here after 5 years in Oslo. Fantastic food and as others say, good sized portions and reasonable prices. Green curry was excellent and whilst not Thailand spicey, still packed a punch. Food came fast which was great for a pre-show meal. Will definitely be a regular stop for me! Would’ve been nice to have a Chang beer with it, but for a quick meal wasn’t a big problem.
