A nice cafe, with a mix of larger and smaller tables. We stopped for lunch and I asked for fish for my wife and a casserole for myself. The last talking the order queried if I wanted the lentils or the reindeer - I confirmed the reindeer casserole (the lentils were called a stew on the menu). I then paid with a card, but at no time could see, was asked to confirm, or was given a printed copy of the order The food arrived after a while. My wife was asked if she wanted bread - on the menu it just said on the menu the fish came with bread so she was a bit taken back to be asked, but the lady serving was pleasant enough - so ok with that. I looked at my dish and was somewhat confused, but the serving lady had disappeared. I tried the meat, which tasted very much like a Turkish gyros. After a couple of forkfuls I checked the menu and realised I had been served the reindeer kebab. A quick check of the amount I had been charged and indeed I had also been charged for that. We don't like wasting food or time. We were not asked at all whether it was OK, the two staff then on duty were just chatting behind the bar. We ate what we had been given and we left. My wife's fish was nice. I was disappointed. Check carefully that you have ordered...
Read moreWe visited this place in September and were super eager to write this review already then, but unfortunately forgot but here it comes and hopefully reaches the lovely blonde girl who was our waitress at the time. Even though mistake was most definately made, the aftermath could not have been better. After they spotted the mistake we were seen and treated super respectfully. The way this one person went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction was incredible. Food was delicious as well, when it last arrived! Good lesson about how mistakes obviously happen but with right kind of approach a professional can still turn it into...

Interactions with other stuff was not particularly welcoming, and that usually makes all the difference.
I understand taste is very personal, but I found the porridge pretty bland. The grain is very good, like steel oats, but it’s made with water and comes with a bit of fruit compote and butter. Also prices - like in most of Norway - are steep.
In short, nice certainly for a little get together with a friend over coffee but based on that one experience I would not come back when I’m...
