Went with our Uni aged son and enjoyed a drink and a few games of chess. What a great atmosphere. The table next to us went next door and picked up fries and gravy and ate it at their table. Souped relaxed place but all seats were full and people standing watching a chess touting the big back room while we were there. Would totally recommend even if you don’t play chess, bring a different game and that’s acceptable as well.

On tap a few interesting options like Polly’s with a few more in the fridge. Absolutely love it. Not like anything else, even if you’re just a fly on the wall.

It was so nice. Not only the atmosphere, but also the bartender (who's one of the owners) really is the nicest and most attentive host. He puts a lot of effort into this bar and does not only serve but works there wholeheartedly. Even if you don't play chess, you surely can have a nice time to relax there, listening to the mellow jazz and enjoying a drink. So happy we've been there! And for all chess players a must see!
