Winther Frognerparken — Restaurant in Oslo

Food was good. Cooked to request. Somewhat lacking in flavors though. Like it is OK, but the meat umami does not quite make you go ooooo this is the best! Good service. But I cannot remember them asking anyone how the food tasted, but they were attentative enough to walk by the table, but they did not check if meals were satisfactory. All food served at the same time, and no actual complaints about the food. I got an entrecote with potatoes on what was supposed to be a potato salad? but it was more like blended potatopure. not bad in taste just a bit weird.For starter I had a cheese collection whuch was a couple of slices of cheese too much as it was rich and made you feel a bit nauseated before eating main food. Loved the music which was not trying to go over the diners speaking volume. All in all a good experience but not Fantastic. Toilets were nice and clean. Only complaint there is to change hand wipe papers by the sinks to a type that does not fall appart when used to dry off was like trying to wipe your hands with soft lambi...

The best pizza I had in life - amazing dough….So soft and delicious. You can choose mostly pizza with mozzarella, ham and burrata but it was still wonderful!! There were also salad options and main dishes with meat, deserts and pastas.

Very comfy place, with nice decor, clean and viby. The service was fine, waitress was a little bit busy and didn’t provide us English menu but then restaurant chef was providing us the best service after found out we were seating longer.

COMMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT: There was only green and fruit tea in small cups More hot drink options, especially now, when winter is coming - maybe to have some teapots with teas like mint/jasmine/orange/ginger with cinnamon.. Having mulled wine will be a great option for those who want...

The place is very cosy and the decor is lovely. It took a while for us to get our menus. 2 people who ordered a pizza with Rucola on top got lettuce instead. While I have never seen an Italian pizza with lettuce on it, there could be one. However it would have been nice if the server explained to us that they had run out of Rucola and used lettuce instead but she didn’t and we had to ask. Not great service overall. I had pasta which was good but...
