The hidden gem in Stavanger? Michelin star in 1 - 2 years?
As we enter the restaurant from street level, we are welcomed by a calm and professional sraff member (turns out it is our waiter and sommelier for the evening).
The restaurant is not big, and estimate that it xan serve 30+ people? Clean, elegant borderline minimalistic style. Partially open kitchen and the chef is busy in the kitchen.
We agree to go with the 7 course option, and wine pairing.
Easy start with their own sourdough bread and butter. Next pre course is full of flavour and start to demonstrate the evening potential.
Then the disches and perfect wine pairing lift us from one level to the next. Perfect scallops that have been marinaded into perfection! Local ocean seawater cray fish (typically fushed at 100+ meter, not the North American freshwater mud crawler...), served with extremely tasty sauce and garnish, moving over to Halibut that had just the right texture and aroma.
The next dish mixed fish, beats, garnish, urb and ocean flavour in one serving. Very tasty.
First dish in desert direction. Spicy flower and creamstyle sweat tasting dish that takes you through a travel of sweat and somewhat spice flavoured journey, packaged in crunchy and creamy textures.
Progressing over to beautiful presentation of suffle made of fluffyness mixed with pistachio flavour and melted chocolate. Yummy!
To finish it al off we got the very balanced cheese platter, serving cheese from Wales, Norway and centeal Europe. First red wine of the evening, complimenting the bluecheese the most.
Loved it, looking forward to...

The food was outstanding—absolutely delicious and of top-tier quality. However, in my personal opinion, two of the courses could have benefited from a slightly reduced number of ingredients, without compromising the overall flavor experience. That said, this is a subjective observation and doesn’t take away from the excellence of the meal.
The service was excellent—striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. We had the restaurant to ourselves for the first hour, but thanks to the warm atmosphere and the attentive staff, we never felt lost, alone, or in the way.
It may be on the pricier side, but definitely...
Read moreA rare find and a unique and unforgettable experience. We had the 7-course menu and wine pack. The food is just beyond delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were excellent and well-sourced. The atmosphere is very calming, great acoustics and a lot of space between tables, so you feel part of the room but not crowded in. The chef worked tirelessly and presented the main dish…. Charming guy. A fabulous experience and I cannot recommend this...
