Thai Street Food — Restaurant in Stavanger

This is one of the best places to eat outside Thailand, literally! A very small kitchen with 1 cook who do EVERYTHING only when it comes to making dishes. There are ofcourse waiters and cleaning personals, but the lady does all work in the kitchen. This means it will takes time. More than normal, so if you cannot wait for the food, sometimes even more than they say it will take, don’t go and expect it there. But the food is worth the wait. 100% autenthic, without you do have to order or asking for it, like most places. Try new dishes here, if you want to learn how Thai food are, if you never been to Thailand before. It’s not just red curry and tom yam (Thai national dish) or padthai. It’s so, so much more than that. The food here are spectacular! No bull s* here. The restuarant itself are so so, at alot of colors and not that big. Been this place many times but recently I am not satisfied. I was there yesterday for taking away, and wanted to come back later for the food, waitress said 30 mins, but last 2 times I came back at appointed time but still waiting more 20 minutes so this time I came back later after 40 minutes and then no food yet, I was told to wait more 5 minutes when it turned out 30 minutes more, from 4:05 to 4:35 when I had sth urgent to do so I suggested to come back again and waitress kept telling me to wait more 2 mins, really disappointed, I told her that her 5 first mins turn out to be 30 mins and I can not wait more and she rushed to kitchen and explained that the cook has cooked for someone else instead of me even I ordered before them???? Any respect to customer here? And the price has been increasingly significant since last year from 195kr to 265kr/ dish now and the quality is less then expected, not spicy and less shrimp then before. This is a fast food Thai restaurant with seating for around 12 people. They also have a washroom. The lady that was working at the cashier was very nice. She said hello, greeted me, and gave me the menu. She also answered questions I had about the food and altered an ingredient in a dish because of personal restrictions.

I got the chicken wings for the appetizer and Singapore noodles for the main meal. Both meals were delicious and appropriately spicy, with well balanced flavors. The chicken wings were crispy and tender. The noodles were not too oily as is common in some Asian fast goods, they were cooked and seasoned well.
