パラオ中心部のホテルにあるレストラン。 ホテルは大通りから一本入った通りにあるため、やや場所が分かりにくいが、看板は光ってるためそれを目掛けて行くと良い。 ホテルに入るとレストランに行きたいと言えば席まで案内してくれる。 パラオ名物の魚料理、蟹料理、食用コウモリ(フルーツバット)など、パラオらしい食事をするにはおすすめなレストラン。 ホテルに宿泊していなくても利用可能。 クレジットカードなども利用できるため使いやすい。 料理はそこそこボリュームがあるが、セットではなくアラカルトメニューのため何品か注文すると良い。 蟹料理は前菜としては良いサイズ感で、味はあっさりとしていて食べやすい。 魚料理(パラオ語の名前のため忘れた)はココナッツ系でやや甘さがあるが、こちらもあっさりしていて脂身感もなく、食べやすい白身魚。 コウモリスープは見た目に好き嫌いがあるが、味は鶏肉のような牛肉のような感じ。 スープはココナッツの甘い系だが、肉はジューシーな甘さがある感じで、見た目を気にしなければそこそこ美味しい。 慣れていないため、肉を取り分けて食べることに苦戦するが、パラオらしい食事がしたい人にはややおすすめの一品。

パラオ滞在最終日の夕食に、何かローカルっぽいものが食べたいと思っていたら、泊まっているいるホテルの近くにそれらしいレストランを発見。気になっていたコウモリのスープもあるそうなので、早速行ってみました。 雰囲気は中級ホテルのレストランという感じで可もなく不可もなく。サービスも平均点というところでした。 肝心のコウモリのスープは、毛のついたまま丸ごと煮込まれて出てきたのにはびっくりしましたが、味は良い出汁が出ていました。ただ、食べ方が良くなかったのか、コウモリそのものにはあまりお肉が付いていなかったです。肉質は鶏肉に近い感じ？内臓もたっぷりでしたが、帰りの飛行機でお腹を壊しても何なので、遠慮しときました。 味としては想像以上にグッドでしたが、やはりコウモリさんのお顔と正対してしまうと、食欲が減退してしまう・・・💦

I had my meals twice here when in Palau. It’s good! Not sure why there was almost no other customers here. I would recommend this hidden restaurant (part of the hotel and the glass door is almost black) if you are around in Koror...
