Fully vegan restaurant with amazing food and low prices. I really enjoyed the vegetable fried rice. Could possibly be the best veggie fried rice I have had in years. It seems like they use high quality ingredients. Another thing that impressed me was the sweet and sour mushrooms. The taste and texture is so unique that I am unable to explain it. It is my favorite dish to eat there. I must note that the complimentary jasmine tea tastes better than at any other place. On top of that, I can call the homemade spicy sauce the tastiest I have had. I am thoroughly impressed with this place.
Some of the prepared items you will easily recognize. They have noodles, potatoes, string beans, eggplant, tofu, squash, etc. Other items you will not recognize because they are a mix of veggies rolled into their own creation. Each time I have been there, a plate of three items costs around five dollars.
They also have homemade ice cream. Remember, all vegan. The mango flavor was very good. The chocolate option was okay. They have other flavors like strawberry, coconut, guanabana (soursop), and cookie.
Look inside the freezer for frozen food items. Most of it made by the restaurant themselves. The item that stands out the most is the hamburger which is made of mushrooms and garfonzo beans.
The interior is a bright color, large, clean and air conditioned. Dimsum is served on some but not all Sunday mornings. Look to their social media account for updates. The only issue I had is that my coconut juice seem to be watered down to the point that I could barely taste it. But the staff member insists that it is the natural flavor. Parking lot only holds...
Read moreBeen there a couple of times; fresh and tasty food, good service, and a very good price. The only thing I could ask for, a little more explanation on the dishes, for people like me not vegetarian but trying the cuisine some stuff is unknown and the owners' Spanish skills are not as good as desirable. Anyway, everything was delicious so not understanding a few words wasn't an issue after all. Totally recommended, even for omnivores like me!
I had a mix of broccoli, spaghetti, wheat protein, and fried corn flour balls. It was seriously good, the corn balls the most common and at the same time less satisfying piece, spaghetti had a very distinctive flavor taking it apart from usual Italian place pasta, and the wheat...
Read moreSome tasty food, great that they offer all-vegan fare, but the service was wildly different from the other international locations of this same chain: I was put off by the rudeness of who appeared to be the owner, in answer to simple questions that were meant for a comfortable experience there. Though of course speaking in Spanish and supporting veganism, I felt rushed and unwelcome. He also changed prices of some products on the spot, even though they were clearly marked on a sign which he scribbled out with pen! It would be more professional to honor the price marked, then if within their policy to change it after a customer left. I recommend other vegan restaurants in the city for better customer service and...
