Is a hidden gem. I really love their food as far as I know the owners are a Russian lady with a Panamanian husband (speaks russian too) so they are a powerful duo and the attention is beyond amazing and kind. When all the places for brunch are full I always come here because they have amazing breakfast and for a good amount of money and good portions. Lunch is amazing also and for people vegetarian they have plenty sweet options and always willing to adapt to your needs. Super authentic russian food so, is super worthy. The actual name of the place is “Rusia con Amor” and they offer much more than cookies.
This is the only place in Panama that offers authentic Russian cuisine. The Borsch, vinagret, olivie, pelmeni that my Eastern European grandma cooked at home I found here.
What this place lacks in size it makes up with a vast menu and collection of Russian memorabilia. If you are a bit shy on the Spanish, don't worry, Russian and English are fluently spoken here.
